The clearest single demonstration that the prefixes are per-decade rather than fixed. দুই is বা- in বাইশ (22) but বাহা- in বাহাত্তর (72); তিন is তে- in তেইশ (23) but তিয়া- in তিয়াত্তর (73). The suffix -আত্তর is stable across the decade even as the prefixes shift under it.
